Welke trends laten de meest recente cijfers over de internationale beurzensector zien?

De Nederlandse beurzensector is internationaal sterk verweven – aan de ene kant hosten onze venues veel internationale beurzen en aan de andere kant halen standbouwers omzet uit projecten in het buitenland. Daarom kijken we in deze “Data & Dialogue” kennissessie op 24 maart 2027 niet alleen naar de Nederlandse Monitor Beurzen (met voorlopige cijfers over 2026), maar naar de globale cijfers en ontwikkelingen en hoe deze zich ten opzichte van elkaar verhouden. 

We hebben hiervoor, naast Lex Kruijver van Respons uiteraard, Sebastian Witt van jwc uitgenodigd. Jwc is het toonaangevende internationale adviesbureau voor de beurs- en congressector. Sebastian geeft inzicht in de huidige stand van zaken van de internationale beurzen sector waarbij alle belangrijke KPI’s  - van verhuurde m2, revenue, marktaandelen, marktposities van werelddelen en landen – voorbijkomen. Daarin neemt hij de voorlopige Nederlandse cijfers uit de Monitor Beurzen 2027 van Respons mee. 

Aansluitend staat er een lunch klaar en brengen we een bezoek aan Visualize Expo, hét event in de Benelux voor print, sign en promotionele toepassingen waar print- en signprofessionals, vormgevers en marketing-, brand-, project- en eventmanagers samenkomen om de nieuwste ontwikkelingen in de markt te ontdekken. Je vindt er kennis, inspiratie en toepassingen over de nieuwste grafische ontwikkelingen, technieken en materialen voor o.a. de event- en standbouwsector.

De voertaal van deze kennissessie is Engels. Daarom nodigen we ook het internationale netwerk van IFES (de International Federation of Exhibition & Event Services) uit. Dus nog meer ruimte voor dialoog en netwerken met vakgenoten uit binnen- én buitenland. Daarnaast is de kennissessie uiteraard toegankelijk voor alle leden van CLC-VECTA en (vak)media.

What trends do the latest figures reveal about the international exhibition industry?

Join us for our “Data & Dialogue” knowledge session on 24 March 2027 to find out! In this session we will explore the latest global industry figures and developments, comparing trends across different markets.

We have invited Sebastian Witt from jwc, a leading international consultancy firm specialising in the exhibition and congress industry, to provide insights into the current state of the global exhibition industry, covering all major KPI’s -– from net rented exhibition space and revenue to market shares and the competitive positions of regions and countries. He will also incorporate the preliminary Dutch figures from Respons' Monitor Beurzen 2027.

Following the session, we will enjoy a networking lunch and visit Visualize Expo, the leading event in the Benelux for print, signage, digital signage & promotional solutions. The exhibition brings together print and sign professionals, designers, and marketing-, brand-, project- and eventmanagers to discover the latest market developments. It offers knowledge, inspiration and practical applications featuring the newest graphic innovations, technologies and materials, including those relevant to the event and exhibition stand-building industry.

This knowledge session will be held in English. Both CLC-VECTA and IFES (International Federation of Exhibition & Event Services) members are invited, creating even more opportunities for dialogue and networking with industry professionals from the Netherlands and abroad.
